The place to be for many younger Bambergers... this is where people meet, drink a beer and linger. This summer there was a beer garden on the lower bridge for the first time, which was well received. The lower bridge can currently be viewed "in person" again....

Adjacent to the old town hall, the heart of the world heritage site in Bamberg, the lower bridge crosses the Regnitz. From the original private bridge there is a beautiful view of the river banks and the half-timbered houses of the fishing settlement that Maximilian II called "Little Venice".
