In the Tauferer Ahrntal, not far from Sand in Taufers at the entrance to the Nationalpark Rieserfernergruppe, are the Reinbach waterfalls.
The Reinbach Waterfalls are among the highest in South Tyrol. Here huge volumes of water from three waterfalls roar in the depths. The falls are an impressive spectacle of nature, really worth seeing, especially in summer, when the falls carry more water than in other seasons. It is three waterfalls, between 10 and 42 m high, over which the masses of water rush down into the depths impressively and with a spray of dust. The waterfalls can be reached in a beautiful and less strenuous walk on the Franziskusweg, a very rewarding trip for the whole family.
