The Anello dei Cipressi of San Quirico d'Orcia is a suggestive hiking route among the hills of the Val d'Orcia, characterized by dirt roads and breathtaking views of places such as Pienza and Montalcino. Along the way there are the famous cypress trees, the famous Villa dinuna of the scenes of the film The Gladiator and in the distance you can see the Chapel of the Madonna di Vitaleta.
Inside the small village of San Quirico it is possible to visit the Horti Leonini for free, a Renaissance garden created in 1580 by Diomede Leoni. Divided into two parts - a more formal one and a more natural one with a forest of holm oaks - it also houses a statue of Cosimo III de' Medici.
San Quirico d'Orcia is a medieval village along the Via Francigena, known for the Collegiata dei Santi Quirico e Giulitta, the Church of San Francesco and its streets rich in history and charm.
