To the west of the dam there is a sheep pen in the middle of the heath. There are also nice opportunities for a picnic. A walk directly through the heath, of course on the heath path, is also highly recommended.

The area is beautiful, especially when the heather is in bloom. But also in winter it is worth walking along here.
