With a brief interruption, the estate was owned by the von Plessen family from 1662 to 1798, followed by the von Plüskow family and, from 1816, the Jasmund family.

The manor house was built in 1898 for Fritz von Voss, who had owned the estate since 1895.

It is a rectangular, two-storey building with two towers from 1906, seven stepped gables, a winter garden extension, a terrace with arbor and a large flight of stairs to the park. The house was built over a field stone base. It has two types of roof: The building has a hipped roof and a gable roof.

In 1936 Fritz von Voss sold the estate. Until 1945 it was owned by the von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen family.

Between 1956 and 1991 an agricultural vocational school with boarding school was operated in the manor house. In the following years the building was sold to private customers.

Apartments and holiday apartments were built in the manor house.
