The pillar has now been uncovered somewhat. Therefore, you notice it directly when you drive past the path next to it. Unfortunately, the way through the forest has become quite bumpy. The seating group (which can still be seen in some pictures) was removed in the course of the ongoing forest work.

The Udohöhe with the surveying column of 1867 is a bit hidden in the forest. Here used to be a station of the 1st order of the Royal Saxon triangulation.
