In the southern part of the Wonderwoud lies the Woudplas, a pond of 2.6 hectares. This pond has been transformed into a recreation area with sitting platforms, lawns and a water play area.

The pond has a shallow part that forms the play mirror. Children can enjoy themselves in the sandbox and the swamp, with an adventure course. In addition, there are three water pumps with water gutters, picnic benches, benches and shallow play pools that provide lots of fun. This area will open in the spring of 2025.

The other part of the Woudplas is surrounded by reed banks and forest. This area is the quiet part of the pond where nature can develop further. You will also find the lawns and sitting platforms there.
