Worth a visit at any time of year - the Boberger Dunes. A dune landscape in the middle of Hamburg. A nature reserve and yet plenty of space to run around and play in the sand - an El Dorado for children if the journey to the North Sea is too far. There are enough walking paths, so you don't have to destroy the beautiful heathland. There is also a gliding airfield nearby, where you can see gliders taking off when the wind is right.

The large dune in the NSG Boberger dunes is quite unique in a wide radius. A real sand dune in real heath landscape. In the summer it is always quite crowded and in winter the wind likes to whistle over the bare plains. This place is always worth a visit.

Open Tuesday to Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sundays and public holidays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
