The local citizens' association of Apen has done a great job: the multi-generation square at the Viehmarktplatz, which was designed together and built with a lot of personal effort, is ready and has now been inaugurated in the truest sense with "kettledrums and trumpets" in compliance with all Corona rules. The centerpiece is a fortress tower with a fountain.

The local citizens' association has redesigned the site in such a way that a small, park-like promenade has been created. You can play a checkers and chess game, a strategy game and on a boule alley, where the balls can be thrown in a convivial manner. Definitely visit!

Cattle market square

Public square in the center of Apen. There is a mobile home parking area with a supply station nearby. The cattle market square is used as a parking lot and bus stop.

Multi-generational square "Lüttje Festung"

On the formerly deserted green area at the
cattle market square in Apen, the Apen local residents' association has created a park as a multi-generational square. As a highlight, the "Lüttje Festung" fountain was built by the residents themselves, which is intended to remind people of the former fortress and castle in Apen.

A wide range of games and entertainment options (boules court, chessboard, and much more) offers the right offer for all ages!

The OBV Apen offers a cozy get-together every Wednesday from
7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on the grounds of the "Lüttjen Festung" under the motto: games, fun, chatting and grilling.

This invitation also goes out expressly to our holidaymakers, whom the OBV would be very happy to welcome.
