This is where the "Gerterode Deer Trail" starts. One of the highlights that awaits you here is Herut. He is a stately deer! He is made entirely of Corten steel by the company Lasertec Möpert.
Alongside the information column, he forms the entrance to a beautiful hiking trail that was created together with the Schmandlecker e.V. local history association, the Niederorschel municipality and the Bernterode hiking club. Come by and take a look, take a photo and enjoy nature.
