Helle Haltben is located on a municipal property somewhere in Hald, but where exactly she is located cannot be revealed. Because it is part of the concept of the Troll Route, which Helle Haltben has now joined, that curious people have to go in search of the big trolls. In this case, the troll hunters can go in search of both Helle Haltben and the one leg that she has lost.
The lost leg serves as a shelter where you can spend the night.
Volunteers from Hald helped in various ways. Some helped with the actual construction of the troll. Only the head and leg were prefabricated at Thomas Dambo.
Others provided the workers with food, coffee and cake. Therefore, a handful of locals were constantly involved in the construction task, which was carried out in cooperation with Thomas Dambo's people.
“In addition, the students from the four oldest classes at Ørslevkloster Skole made the necklace for Helle Haltben, so we really stuck together here and are very proud that everything worked out,” says Kirsten Jakobsen.
