An impressive cliff in the Harz Mountains is the Rabenklippe. A beautiful place with a great view over to the Brocken. It is only a few hundred meters away from the former inner-German border. From the Waldgasthaus Rabenklippe you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view, at least at 555 meters.

The lynx enclosure is right next to it. It is best to plan the tour so that you are there in time for the lynx feeding. Although the beautiful big cats do not offer us any spectacle while eating, we see them up close and learn many things worth knowing. Also, why these sugar-sweet representatives are not suitable for release into the wild and that today up to 100 lynxes live in the Harz again. If the hike from Bad Harzburg is too short for you, you should continue to the Kreuz des Deutschen Ostens.

The Rabenklippen are a must-see in the Harz! Not only because the view is really spectacular and wildly romantic. But also because you can strengthen yourself next door in the Gasthaus Rabenklippen and watch the observation tower of the lynx enclosure for the shy animal.
