The refugio Binifaldo is located at about 620 m altitude. Here you can fortify yourself and relax in front of the hut. Overnight accommodations are offered.

Finca Binifaldo has existed since the Arabs were on Mallorca. Binifaldo means "Beni Haldo" = son of Haldo. The finca is surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape. Nearby there is an ancient holm oak, 500 years old, 20 m high and with a crown circumference of 19 m. It is marked as a natural monument.

Binifaldo is a former farm that now houses an educational center. In front of it is a nice rest area under shady trees. Cheeky chaffinches hop around and hope for bread crumbs, sheep also stop by and give a mowing concert 🐑

The access to the Binifaldo was still closed in the dark, if necessary the gate will be opened during the day. The way there was an experience, at least at night. From time to time sheep appear out of nowhere between holm oaks. From Binifaldo there is also a small but informative nature trail.
