On the Dennewitzer Mühlenberg there is a mass grave in which 80 soldiers of the 4th East Prussian Infantry Regiment found their final resting place.

The commemorative cross for the fallen of the Battle of Dennewitz was erected in 1902. It is a cast-iron cross with the inscription:
»Resting place of 80 heroes«.

On the blackboard at the enclosure is the following inscription:
»Thanks to generous donation erected in memory and glory of the comrades who fell on 6 September 1813, Grenadier Regiment King Frederick I (4th East Prussian No. 5)«

The Niedergörsdorfer pastor carpenter had put on the back of the monument another panel, which reads:
"The god who made iron grow, he did not want servants."

The access to the memorial cross lies between bushes and is easy to miss. It is located at the level of the entrance to the railway underpass.
