The Hill of San Blas is the highest point in the town and is important for several reasons:
The “Hermitage of San Blas” is located there, built in 1880 on the esplanade where the Arab Castle was located. On the day of the Saint, a procession-pilgrimage is held to the Hermitage, which ends with mass and tasting of typical products of the area.
On April 20, a procession with the Holy Cross goes up to bless the fields.
On Good Friday, a Via Crucis ends at the top of the Hill and the contemplation of the sunrise from there delights the participants.
There are still cave houses there, reminiscent of the “troglodyte habitat”.
