One of the highlights on the Hermannsweg through the Teutoburg Forest is definitely the imposing Externsteine. They are among the most important natural and cultural monuments in the entire Teutoburg Forest. But myths and legends also haunt the Externsteine. The upstanding rocks are an attraction in the beautiful forest landscape. The entrance to the rocks costs 3 euros per person and is a worthwhile investment. You have a great view over the landscape.
