At this point, the Glems River, which has its source in the nearby Red Deer Park, flows somewhat inconspicuously into the Pfaffensee. At the southern end of the Neuer See, the Glems leaves the Bärenseen lakes to continue its course and flow into the Enz River in Unterriexingen.
