Modica is famous for its chocolate: sugar crystals and bitter cocoa masses together, like solidified lava, rough and original. One of the first addresses is Bonajuto, not least because of the manufactory atmosphere of the shop. That has style.

The oldest chocolate factory in Sicily, in Modica since 1880.
Inserted among the 100 excellences of Italy, it is a place to buy the famous Modica chocolate (with many flavours) but not only: cannoli, cassata etc. can be tasted in the alley in the sweet shop as more than 100 years ago.
An almost obligatory place of passage for those visiting Modica.
