16.03.2019 - Very interesting church inside and outside. The Jakobi district did not come to Leoben until 1900. Located at the foot of the mass mountain and not far from an old Mur crossing, the old parish church (until 1811) was a settlement historical curiosity dar. As a princely own church, it is first mentioned in 1188 in a document. It also remained after the relocation of the city at the end of the 13th century. Parish seat outside the city walls. A look at the Jakobikirche shows that many centuries were built on it.
