The small forest cemetery in Kemeri National Park exudes a tranquil, almost mystical atmosphere, enhanced by the centuries-old trees and the bright green moss on the graves. Here you can find the graves of local families, often surrounded by wrought iron fences that have aged but still retain a certain charm. Some crosses are deeply covered in moss, reinforcing the impression that nature here makes you forget time.

Historically, such cemeteries often served small villages and were deliberately built in isolation. Many of these graves are over 100 years old, which is due to the long history of settlement in this region. Especially in autumn, when the foliage glows in the most intense colors, the place feels like a hidden gem - an invitation to pause and reflect on the transience of life.
