Once you reach the bottom, you can immediately cross the road and walk along the forest, with some sections suitable for beginner climbers and abseilers, to the entrance of the Durby Adventure Valley climbing meadow, or towards Petithan town center or Durbuy via the Ourthe River. This path seems even steeper in the opposite direction. I thought it would be safer not to use the section with the "railing" and tree root-like staircase in the weather I experienced and with my somewhat unstable knee. It's a decision to make based on your weather and physical condition. The ground is anything but firm and stable. The paved sections in the holiday park are, of course, but they are also quite steep.
