The castle Lütetsburg is a moated castle in the community Lütetsburg in East Frisia.
The castle is eponymous for the community and consists of a residential building, a bailey and a park. The castle is located east of the city north and has been rebuilt several times over the centuries several times. The three-winged bailey belongs to the second, built by the chief Unico Manninga 1557-1576 plant, her gate tower from 1731 to the third. The castle itself was built in the years 1959 to 1960 on the foundations of the burnt-down predecessor building.

Here you can enjoy the daily fresh homemade cakes and tarts as well as the delicious dishes from the varied and seasonal cuisine. In the sunshine, the large terrace attracts with beautiful views. In bad weather there is room in the café, protected under the green roof of the more than 50-year-old vines.

The Schlosspark Lütetsburg was designed at the beginning of the 18th century in the style of the Dutch Baroque and according to the zeitgeist of the time a small-scale parceling up. By the end of the 18th century he had fallen desolate. Edzard Mauritz Freiherr von Inn- and Knyphausen had him rebuilt in the years 1790-1813 by the Oldenburg court gardener Carl Ferdinand Bosse. According to his plans, the largest private English landscape garden in northern Germany was created on the approximately 30 hectare site. Clearly the plant is to be viewed in the second half of the 18th century as a turn towards Romanticism in the sense of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. It is one of the few preserved on the continent examples of this early romantic garden type.
