Sturdy ankle-high shoes would be good as it is late. From the TUI forest onwards the ground is very rough. The forest hut on the beach is OK, but this time there was no running water (and the sanitary facilities 😏), which was the case about 6 years ago.
There were some forestry and construction work on the paths on the way, and we actually met very few hikers on the tour...
The way back is a challenge in terms of altitude. Here you can clearly see your personal fitness level 🙄 otherwise a very interesting tour for which you should plan around 6/7 hours (we found the last 6 km to be very strenuous and time-consuming)
