The Luther fountain in Mansfeld-Lutherstadt was created in 1913 by the sculptor Paul Juckhoff and shows three reliefs with events from the life of Luther.

The Lutherbrunnen, built from Bavarian limestone limestone, was created by the sculptor Paul Juckhoff from Schkopau and shows three reliefs depicting scenes from the life of Martin Luther:

Out into the world: Luther as a 13-year-old boy with a walking stick and a student hat in his hand

Out into the fight: Luther with a hammer in his hand at the theses in Wittenberg

Through to victory: Luther with a determined look and a firm hand on the Bible

At the foot of the fountain are the medallions of Luther's parents, Hans and Margarethe Luder, which were designed in accordance with the famous paintings by Lucas Cranach. The top of the monument is crowned by the dragon-killing Saint George, patron saint of the city of Mansfeld.
