Beautiful hike through the charming Wiedtal.
You can stop off at the Laubachmühle or at Monrepos Castle, for example.
The Monrepos Museum - Archaeological Research Center and Museum for Human Behavioral Evolution - is particularly worthwhile for families. There are also very interesting tours with a specific focus.
