Vista point alongside G349 highway leading up to the Gangbala (or Kampala) pass and to Yamtso Lake.
At 4280m above sea level it offers a spectacular view into the valley below.
At the vista point there are opportunities for taking photos, with a fee, with Tibetan Mastiffs, Yaks, or goats.
From Lhasa it takes almost 2.5 hours to drive here up a good mountain road with bends and turns. If you are not used to the low oxygen levels at altitudes above 4000m, better also bring oxygen canisters with you. These are available in most supermarkets in Lhasa.
