                      You can hardly walk more beautiful. Two paths lead along the Schmalsee, one path and narrow on the shore, the other slightly higher, wider and more comfortable.
                      This year, the bridge at the mouth of the Hellbach was closed, but that does not matter, because the few hundred meters detour are just as nice to walk.
                      If you can and do like to walk, you take the extension Lütauer See, who does not, who takes the bridge, where the two lakes are separated from each other and runs just as enjoyably back on the west bank.

                        You can go hiking right along the east bank of the Schmalsee with great views of the lake. In the north from the Waldhalle to the Carmen-Langmaack-Weg. If you have already hiked along the entire east bank, you do not need to go back the same way, but you can better continue walking over the wooden bridge, because there is also a very beautiful hiking trail directly on the west bank. I recommend simply going around the lake completely. That's only a little over 3 kilometers and takes just under an hour. If you also go around the Lütauer See, it is only 8.5 km in total and that too can be done in 2 hours. 😉
