From here you have a great view over the Outer Alster to the Hotel Atlantic. Located between the main station and the Outer Alster, the Atlantic is one of the most renowned hotels in Germany and regularly hosts celebrities - especially Udo Lindenberg.
White facade, ornate balustrades, waving flags and the legendary globe on the roof, which is colored green with patina: the stately building of the hotel has shaped the banks of the Outer Alster since 1909.
Not far from the main train station, the Inner Alster and the shopping streets of the Hanseatic city, the listed building is in a prime location - so good that even the makers of the "James Bond" films couldn't get past it and the agents, played by Pierce Brosnan, were full of action "Tomorrow never dies" climb the roof dome.
The Hotel Atlantic is firmly in Hanseatic hands, was completely refurbished in 2012 and thus meets the highest standards - as it has since it opened.
