The Geul is a fast-flowing river that flows from Belgium through South Limburg and empties into the Meuse at Meerssen. It meanders through the hilly Geul Valley, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands, known for its steep banks, meanders, and unique flora and fauna.
