The Church of St. Joseph (also known as the Dominican Church) on Bahnhofstrasse is the youngest of the 6 churches in St. Michael. In 1881, Dominicans from Graz acquired the Palazzo Ferrari, a three-story, elongated residence from the 18th century with stucco ceilings, wood paneling, older components in the basement and a round-arch loggia from the 17th century. The property previously belonged to various noble families and was owned by Dr. Josef v. Ferrari (from 1840) before the Dominicans moved in.
