Lompret Castle, located in the Wallonia region of Belgium, is a historic site with a rich history. The old feudal castle has undergone many destructions and renovations over the centuries. In the 14th and 15th centuries it was owned by the Bouzantons family and later by the Landas family in the 16th and 17th centuries. During the French Revolution it came into the hands of a blacksmith master and remained in that family.

Today, only some parts of the original castle are visible. On one side you will find the former homes, which have been restored and converted into hotels and private homes. On the other side are the ruins of an old barn, flanked by the remains of a 15th-century turret. The 19th century church, built on the site of the former castle chapel, is also part of the heritage.
