The Prattenburg family estate is located in the municipalities of Veenendaal and Rhenen and covers more than 445 hectares. Of this, 400 hectares are forest, 30 hectares of organic farmland, 17 hectares of historic park and a number of small heathlands. The forest is open to the public. The park can only be visited by groups on request. The forest borders the Staatsbosbeheer on the west, the built-up area of Elst on the south and the Utrechts Landschap, the Dikkenberg estate and Kwintelooyen on the east. The Prattenburg family estate has been cherished and managed by the Van Asch van Wijck family since the 17th century. (source: prattenburg.nl)
