The spring was once said to have healing powers. Sick people drank it, and injured people washed their wounds and clothes in it. The Albverein now looks after the facility.
The older generation of Tailfinger residents can still remember how strong their belief in the positive effects of the water from the Heilig Brünnle was in their younger years. The facility has long since become nothing more than a meeting point to enjoy the beautiful view over Truchtelfingen and the valley.
