The Uenglinger Gate is, alongside the Holsten Gate, one of the most impressive city gates of the North German brick Gothic style.

The gate can be visited from May to September: Tuesday-Friday: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission costs €2.

The Uenglinger Gate (as it is correctly called) is, alongside the Holsten Gate, one of the most impressive city gates of the North German brick Gothic style.

The gate can be visited from May to September: Tuesday-Friday: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission costs €2.

The Uenglinger Tor and the Tangermünder Tor are preserved from the medieval city fortifications and can be visited. Around 1300 Stendal received city walls, in 1440 the Uenglinger Tor was built.
