The Strecktalpark is the green recreation oasis in the city center of Pirmasens. Directly adjacent to the city center, the almost 15 hectare landscape park invites you to take varied walks.

In addition, the Strecktal offers a water playground, a beach volleyball and streetball field, an inline skating court and a disc golf facility.

Directly adjacent to the city center, the almost 15 hectare landscape park offers space to breathe on varied walks. It goes past gardens, orchards, a pond and streams. A number of experiment stations also provide additional exercise opportunities. These are outdoor exhibits from the Dynamicum Science Center.

The Strecktal is spanned by the imposing Streckbrücke, which was built in 1928 and connects the city center with the districts in the direction of Winzeln. Today it is a landmark of Pirmasens.

The park offers many leisure options. Above it is the stretch bridge, another landmark of Pirmasens.

The Strecktalpark in the middle of the city is a magnet for visitors and also offers a DiscGolf course and some Dynamikum outdoor exhibits. The Poissy Garden is reminiscent of the city friendship that was made with the French city of Possiy in 1965. The park was created in 2000 on the site of a former tannery.

The stretch bridge has been connecting the inner city with the western outskirts and the district of Winzeln since 1928. It is one of the symbols of Pirmasens.
