It's not far from Adlgaß to Frillensee. A beautiful natural lake that you can walk around without any effort. It's also suitable for small children and even with a stroller without any problems. On the left side of the lake (on the way back) there is an interesting barefoot path for children. It's a little below the hiking trail, but can't be missed. Nice change for children 😉

The Frillensee is a lake in the Chiemgau Alps in the municipality of Inzell in the Bavarian district of Traunstein.
The Frillensee is considered the coldest lake in Central Europe[1] and often has a stable ice cover as early as November. It does not freeze from the edge as usual, but from the middle.
The shores of the lake are mainly forest, but in the northwest there is a raised bog with a diverse flora, which is why the lake and its surroundings are protected landscapes.
The Frillensee is a glacial lake that was created by the melting of glaciers since the last ice age. The lake was originally about 800 m long. Today it is only 340 m long, but merges into moors and wet meadows on the shore.
