Built between 1180 and 1330, the three-aisled arched basilica with galleries features precious medieval furnishings such as the tombs of the counts of Schwarzenburg (black burial chapel), a late-Gothic winged altar (1498), the "beautiful Madonna" (c. 1415) of lindholz and important stained glass windows , At the beginning of the 19th century, the church was used by foreigners and fell into ruin. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was renovated and neo-Gothic changed. In the mid-fifties to the early seventies of the last century, an extensive reconstruction took place.
