The project has its origins in two city council proposals. During the planning and project planning, the ProHof e.V. association, the schools, youth, social affairs and sports division, the green spaces department and the sports advisory board as well as sports association president Dominik Zeh were in close contact. It was implemented, opposite the site of the Hofer Eisteich with a new skate park and pump track facility, thanks to financing from the ProHof e.V. association and the city of Hof's building yard.
