This neo-Romanesque hall church was built in 1926 with Saint Adrian as its patron saint. He was a messenger between the bishops Lambertus and Servatius of Liège and the monasteries in the region. Adrianus was murdered around 680, according to legend perhaps in Hoelbeek. In a major fire in 1969, almost the entire contents of the church was destroyed, resulting in the loss of many valuables. A final restoration took place in 1998.

The Sint-Adrianuskerk is the parish church of Hoelbeek, a village in the south (Haspengouw) of the Belgian province of Limburg.
This neo-Romanesque hall church was built in 1926, although Hoelbeek only became an independent parish in 1934. The brick building has a built-in, relatively low tower. In 1969 there was a fire that destroyed the interior.
