Hoyos is a municipality in the province of Cáceres, in the Community of Extremadura. Due to its proximity to the Silver Route, it is first related to Roman and later Arab settlements.
Among its heritage, the church of Nuestra Señora del Buen Varón stands out, from the 12th and 13th centuries, with a Romanesque doorway and two others from different Gothic periods.
