The Old Town Hall of Nabburg was built in its present form in the mid-16th century and has a rich history.

The crenellated clock tower immediately catches the eye and sits atop a stepped gable of the Renaissance-style porch. The town's flag is displayed here, and at Christmastime, the tower is adorned with a Christmas tree.

In front of the town hall is the fountain commemorating Nabburg's town twinning with the French town of Castillon de Bataille.

The beautiful building once housed a shopping arcade with the town scales, then became a council chamber and wedding hall, and later a school and residence. Afterward, it served as a museum before reverting to its role as the town hall in 1998.

It features a gallery from which the mayor, among other things, opens the "Medieval Market" every two years, one of the largest historical festivals in the Upper Palatinate.

Nabburg Town Hall was built in 1417. The tower with its clock, along with the Renaissance extension with a portal, staircase, and loggia, were added in the 16th century. The town hall housed small shops, the city scales, and, in addition to the assembly hall, a wedding hall. For over 100 years, the building was used for other purposes until, following a general renovation from 1995 to 1998, it once again became the official residence of the mayor and the headquarters of the Nabburg administrative community.
