Surrounded by a water lily pond, a 16 meter high mountain rises in the Karlsaue State Park on the southern edge of the park. In spring, daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and even the first rhododendrons bloom here on three levels. Due to the seasonal colors of the leaves, the seasonally changing flower plantings and the view over the surrounding water areas, the island always offers you a unique panorama from spring to autumn.
