In addition to the exhibition on the Nazi concentration camp from 1937 to 1945, there is a very interesting exhibition on the use of the former concentration camp from 1945 to 1950 as the Soviet special penal camp No. 2 - in the GDR this was kept secret from the population (!) - it was only after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990 that the investigation of this period began...
