The Warbrucker Weiher is part of the pond area Postlohe and is located directly on the village Bodenwöhr. The water is partly under protection and can be circumnavigated on a hiking trail. In summer, two swimming spots invite you to take a dip in the cool water.

Warbruck pond

The Warbrucker Weiher is a 15.5 hectare lake. In 1760 the electoral mining and metallurgical authority of Bodenwöhr built the dam for the Warbrucker Weiher. Today the lake is a landscape conservation area and is idyllically situated right next to Lake Hammersee in Bodenwöhr. The water is very little fished and is rated as a top fishing area.
Unfortunately, boating is not permitted there.
A 3.8-kilometer hiking trail leads around the Warbrucker Weiher. The starting point is the information board on Taucherstrasse in the Blechhammer district. The circular hiking trail first leads along the north bank of the Warbrucker Weiher and via the south bank back to the starting point.
