Very beautiful cliff trail, especially especially varied with fantastic passages and panoramas.
At the cemetery of Caniçal you can park well and start a day hike from there. We hiked back to Porto da Cruz and back to the south via Machico back to the Levadas. One of the best days of my life!

From the cemetery in Caniçal we start, first through a trackless moon shaft and then on paths, sometimes over meadow, through the jungle, along the steep coast. You should definitely be free from giddiness and sure-footed, then the tour is a dream!
Mini climbing passages are also included, I was glad that I had my walking stick, in the morning in November it was wet and sometimes very slippery

Beautiful color contrast between the "Red Rocks", the green nature and the Atlantic. For me by far the most beautiful circuit on Madeira.
