Ponte in Valtellina could be a small mid-mountain village like many others, but it differs in two real monuments: the "Da Nello" restaurant, which offers atmospheres from the other century (and genuine mountain cuisine) and the Murunèe, a 600-year-old mulberry tree that dominates Piazza Sant'Ignazio.

Ponte in Valtellina is a small village full of very narrow streets and with a certain atmosphere.
A crossing point for the Wine Trail and various walks, it is on the sunny side of Valtellina.
There are some prominent places including the Da Nello restaurant which makes excellent local food and the Fiordimela ice cream shop which makes excellent artisanal ice cream with seasonal flavours.

Ponte in Valtellina is a beautiful town on the Rhaetian side, just above Chiuro.
Very characteristic, its streets are very narrow and cobbled (be careful not to go fast if you choose to cross it). The view of the valley floor and the Orobie Alps is beautiful, the panoramic road passes immediately above it.
