Since 1922, visitors to the observatory have been able to enjoy a live view of the sky during public guided tours of the observatory's telescopes. Employees work on an honorary basis, outside the guide time (depending on the season between 20 and 22 o'clock) the observatory is not occupied. Admission 4 €.

Here, you can view the sky through the telescopes during opening hours.
The observatory is also located in a beautiful setting: from the beautiful Uhlandshöhe park, you have a beautiful view over Stuttgart, and from the small park with a viewing platform above the observatory, you can see in the other direction, to the southeast, as far as Untertürkheim.
