The two Crystal Lakes are located beneath Fairchild Mountain, at the base of the cirque; two pristine lakes surrounded by a granite landscape. The largest one is thought to be the deepest in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The lakes are 8 miles from the Lawn Lake trailhead, and the hike has some views of the Horseshoe area between the trees. The terrain is not so difficult, but it is important to be prepared for a long hike.
