Silleda is a Spanish municipality in the province of Pontevedra, in the autonomous community of Galicia, and a town in the municipality, its capital. It has a population of 8,876 inhabitants (INE 2023). The municipality belongs to the judicial district of Lalín and the Deza region. Here are the Toja waterfalls and the Monastery of San Lorenzo de Carboeiro.
The relief of the municipality is characterized by the valley of the Deza river to its mouth in the Ulla river, and by the mountains that surround it.
