The Castillitos battery was armed between 1933 and 1936. Recently rehabilitated for your visit, walking through this military complex and contemplating its peaceful views of the Mediterranean and its ships is simply impressive.

Located in Cabo Tiñoso we find this impressive fortress built and armed between 1933 and 1936 in a strategic position. The Castillitos Battery was rehabilitated to visit. The last stretch to get to the site is a bit worn so we can get off the bike and walk a few meters to contemplate the place and its views.

The site was cool. I learned a lot about the Spanish Civil War and how the Republicans used the buildings. What I liked most was seeing the cannons; they were very large. 😀
If you want to go back through the West, there's a somewhat tedious road with a lot of cars. That road seemed endless to me. 😮💨
